Who is an Insurance Agent?
An insurance agent is a trusted representative of an insurance company who helps customers safeguard their future by offering the right protection solutions. As an agent, you play a vital role in guiding individuals and businesses to make informed decisions about their insurance needs. You can offer a wide range of general insurance products — including motor, health, travel, and corporate insurance — ensuring comprehensive coverage against unforeseen risks. Who is a Point of Sale (POS)?
A POSP (Point of Salesperson) is a certified insurance representative authorized to sell select insurance products with ease and flexibility. Becoming a POSP is simple — you just need to meet the minimum educational qualifications prescribed by the IRDAI and complete a short training program provided by us. This role opens doors to exciting opportunities where you can start your own venture, earn attractive commissions, and help people protect what matters most.
Who can become an agent?
- ✔️ You are 18 years of age or older.
- ✔️ You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong social network.
- ✔️ You possess the skills and motivation to sell insurance products effectively.
- ✔️ You have completed a minimum qualification of Class 10 or equivalent.
- ✔️ You are confident, persuasive, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
- ✔️ You are not associated with any other general insurance company.
