Highlights

Provides cover for loss or damage to TV/VCR/VCP (including aerial fittings), liability of insured and loss & damage to property belonging to or in the custody of the insured.

Scope

It covers loss and or damage due to

1. Fire, Lightning
2. Bursting and overflowing of water tanks
3. Accidental external means
4. Flood, hurricane, inundation, storm and cyclone
5. Theft, burglary and housebreaking
6. Riots, strike or malicious act
7. Mechanical or electrical breakdown
8. Earthquake
9. Aircraft or articles dropped therefrom

Exclusion

1. Consequential loss
2. Depreciation, wear and tear
3. Failure, breakage or damage caused by normal atmospheric conditions
4. Mechanical derangement
5. War and allied perils
6. Liability assumed by the insured by agreement
7. Ionising radiations
8. Loss or damage to external antenna or fittings by theft unless the television apparatus itself is stolen at the same time
9. Loss or damage for which the manufacture or supplier is responsible either by law or contract
10. Loss or damage caused by or arising out of or traceable to erection, repairing, cleaning or dismantling the TV/VCR/VCP set.

Premium

Premium is charged at a rate percent of the value of the apparatus.
